Early access
The Windows installer is not public yet. Request early access and we will send you the link.
1. Install
- Run the installer you received and start Meeting Ears.
- A slim toolbar opens over your screen with the tabs Listen, Live, Context, Calendar, History and Settings. Click a tab to open its panel; click it again (or press Ctrl \) to hide the panel.
- Optional: Settings → General → Open at login starts Meeting Ears when your computer starts.
2. Sign in
- Open Settings → Account.
- Choose Continue with Google (your web browser opens; finish there and come back), or use Sign in with email. New with email? Choose Create an account, enter your email and a password, then Create account.
- With email, open the verification link we send you, then press I have verified. Your 15 free minutes start once the email is verified. Google accounts are already verified.
Forgot your password? Forgot password? sends a reset link.
3. Prepare your context
Answers are only as good as what Meeting Ears knows. Open Context: the built-in General project has a preset called Default. Give it a Meeting title, a few lines of Notes (who you are, what the meeting is about, the facts people may ask for) and, if you like, text documents. Press Save preset. More in Projects and context presets.
4. Your first meeting
- Put on headphones and join your call as usual.
- Open Listen. Check the Project (where the meeting is saved) and the Context preset (what answers use).
- Leave both Microphone (your voice) and System audio (everyone else on the call) on, and check the Language.
- Press Start listening, or Ctrl Shift L from any app.
- Open Live: the transcript is on the right and answers appear on the left when someone asks a question. See The Live tab.
- Press Stop listening when the call ends. Under the timer you see how much live time the meeting used, and the meeting is saved in History.

When you share your screen
The Meeting Ears window is left out of screenshots and screen shares (Windows 10 version 2004 or later, and Windows 11), and it has no taskbar button. You still see it on your own screen. Windows notifications are not hidden from shares, which is why calendar reminders are neutral by default.
